Excited Tonight about the One TRUE GOD!!!

Hebrews 9:23-30 (New American Standard Bible)

23Therefore it was necessary for the copies of the things in the heavens to be cleansed with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

For Christ did not enter a holy place made with hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;

nor was it that He would offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the holy place year by year with blood that is not his own.

Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment,

So Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.

Man, THAT IS EXCITING STUFF!!!! It's late and I should be in bed, but I just can't get over my joy in the Lord tonight!! I typed in the words, "One True God" on Bible Gateway and found this passage. LOOK AT THIS!!

Hebrews has been my life book. It saved me from the years of bondage thinking I could lose my salvation. Here it is again. He didn't enter a Holy place made with the mere hands of men. NO SIR!! He entered the heavens, the home of GOD ALMIGHTY! Because He is MY GREAT HIGH PRIEST, He no longer has to suffer often for my many sins, but "now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself". If you are a Christian, and that doesn't excite you, THERE IS SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH YOU!

Then, look at the last of it. We walk around (and I am including myself in this) focusing on our burdens and our circumstances like the saddest sack people on the planet. No wonder no one wants to be a Christian. We are kill joys! Here we are told that Christ offered once to BEAR THE SINS OF MANY and He Will appear a second time WITHOUT REFERENCE TO SIN, to who?? To the world? No!! To those who EAGERLY await Him!!!

How eager are you for Christ's return? Are you thinking...no my baby needs to grow up, no I have to get married, no I want a career, etc. etc. I used the think that way when I was a nominal Christian (and most likely NOT SAVED), BUT NOT NOW! Man, I can tell you if it weren't for the deep burden of my soul for so many that are going to meet this day of judgment NOT IN CHRIST, I would be ready to see Him RIGHT THIS VERY MINUTE! But, for your sakes, I am grateful He tarries.

Please, don't waste ONE MORE SECOND of your life on THIS PERISHING WORLD that offers false god's made by the hands of men. SURRENDER your heart today to THE ONE TRUE GOD not made by human hands. If you will, you will NEVER REGRET IT and YOU WON'T HAVE TO HOLD ON TO HIM because HE WILL HOLD ON TO YOU FOR ETERNITY!!

Father God,

As you have led me to these old hymns and lyrics, I am convicted, humbled, burdened, and challenged by their words. Father, I pray that you would make me a channel of blessing to others. What a glorious privilege it is that we have to be part of your work here on earth. Too often we shy from it; wincing in the light and scurrying back to darkness for fear of personal rejection. Father, please forgive me personally for all of those times. Father, please have mercy on ALL of us collectively in the body of Christ for falling victim to satan's schemes. Forever burn on our retinas the image of lost souls eternally burning in hellfire and brimstone that we might not be insensitive to their plight. Father, please convict us of unknown sin in our lives that we might confess it, be cleansed, and be made ready to be a channel of blessing to others. Lord, I lift up to you ALL THE NAMES on this blog (and all those not represented here) that NEED SALVATION. Lord, many of them, obviously ALL OF THEM, do not know that the building they are in is on fire. They do not know that the path they lead, which seems so right, leads to death and destruction. Father, please fill me with your Spirit that I may be more like Christ; full of Grace AND Truth as I seek out the lost and try to tell them the Truth. Father, if I speak with all knowledge and have not love, I will be as a clanging cymbal and they will not desire to come out of the darkness and into Your glorious light. Father, I plead with you as your daughter that while you have burdened me with knowledge of You and Your word to take to the world, that you would infiltrate my thoughts, my words, and my actions with your abundant love and grace so as not to forever offend others away from You, but rather convict them of their great need for Your grace to save them. I sincerely plead this on behalf of myself and ALL who are burdened to win the lost to Your kingdom. May satan no longer triumph over us with fear of offense, with fear of personal rejection, and with fear of 'messing it up', but may we be so confessed up, cleaned up, and filled up that ALL THINGS be possible through Jesus Christ in our lives.

Paul Washer at Deeper Conference 2008

I found this on a fellow fisherman's site. I was at this conference and it was Paul Washer that God greatly used to stir in me the dormant desire to begin fishing.




I still have much to learn about being faithful to evangalize, but the Lord has helped me much in recent days. Recently I gave tracts at Taco Bell to the cashier and asked him to give some to the car behind me after I payed their bill. It was so exciting because the boy said, "Why would you do that?" I was able to hand him the tracts and say, "Because of what's in here. Because of Jesus". It was awesome!!
